Urology Austin Pharmacy

Currently, the Urology Austin Pharmacy offers a select number of pharmaceuticals for specific conditions including: Erectile Dysfunction, Kidney Stones, Low Testosterone, Male Infertility and Advanced Prostate Cancer. As we continue to grow this service, we will be expanding our medications to address additional diagnoses.
The Urology Austin Pharmacy is managed by Rich Cuellar, RPh, a registered Pharmacist and member of the Texas Pharmacy Association. Rich has a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin, and brings 28 years of pharmacy experience to our practice. He also serves as a Practitioner Faculty Member with The University of Texas at Austin Pharmacy School to precept student interns.

Urology Austin Pharmacy staff are committed to providing the highest level of personalized service to our pharmacy patients. In doing so, we are pleased to have received two accreditations from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC): one in Specialty Pharmacy Services and the other for Distinction in Oncology. Thank you for entrusting us with your pharmaceutical needs.
Manage Monthly Drug Costs with the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan
The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan offers a convenient way to manage out-of-pocket Medicare Part D drug costs. Starting in 2025, this voluntary program allows participants to spread their prescription expenses evenly across the year instead of paying pharmacy costs upfront. There’s no cost to join, and you won’t pay interest or fees.
This plan can benefit individuals with high early-year drug costs by providing predictable monthly payments without reducing overall expenses. The new law also caps annual out-of-pocket drug costs at $2,000, ensuring you never exceed this limit.
Not sure if this plan is right for you? Consider your situation and explore other cost-saving options such as Medicare’s Extra Help program or State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs. Visit Medicare.gov for more guidance or contact your health plan directly for personalized counseling.
